My name is Joe Crawford.

I live and work in Northern Michigan U.S.A.

I’ve been an entrepreneur since my early twenties and have owned several different businesses in a unique variety of industries.  I currently own a fresh fruit and produce market where we offer fresh locally grown produce to the local public and many vacationers in Northern Michigan.  I also work with stone and stone products as a stone mason.  Another business I started back in 2005 is different in that it is an online business.

Back in 2005 I went looking for  away I could do business on the Internet in a way that was unconnected from the current commercial construction company I owned at the time.  I had free time during the winter’s in Michigan as the construction industry is almost seasonal where I live on account of the cold winter temperatures.  Over the last 5 or 6 years I’ve developed a successful online business that earns a recurring monthly income exclusively from the Internet.

One of the main skills I had to acquire to build a profitable online business was SEO or Search Engine Optimization.  Simply put, when someone went to a search engine and searched for a popular term in my online niche, I needed my site to come up on the first page of the search engine.  I didn’t know how to do that when I started so I had to learn about SEO in order to make my online business viable.

One of the things I like about my online business the most is that is very passive business model.  I’ve worked very hard to build a couple authority websites in my niches and they get a lot of traffic.  It has become much easier and less time consuming to maintain my traffic and search engine rankings which is one of the reasons I started to offer SEO help to Michigan small business website owners.
